Paging Übel I guess.
The Weihenstephaner Hefeweissbier was sold out (!), but I got some replacements that should fill my weissbier quota today. Also found this:
Very quick potato shot in a liquor-store full of people. An yes Laird Andy, the Ringnes was only bought because it was cheap and I didn’t care to pick up cheaper beer at the regular store.

I personally like the Paulaner a lot...

Hefeweizen is love. Hefeweizen is life. Dunkel brau too.

Damn you and your easy access to Paulaner. If/when I want some I have to special order a case. That and the Schneiderweisse are very good though.

Easy access, but at just over 6 USD for a 0.5l bottle it’s not that cheap here. I agree that they are very good, think I like the Schneiderweisse a bit more.

Muahaha. Merican good beers gonna take over the world!

I’ve not had Paulaner, but it’s on my list and I know somewhere around here carries it. The rest of those I am totally unfamiliar with, but looks like a good haul.
Founder’s Porter on the other hand, I’ve had frequently. I’m considering stopping by their taproom today, too. Probably wouldn’t drink it near as much at 50 euros(right?), though.

O_O
Damn, a bottle of Schneiderweisse is about $3.50 here, the Paulaner would be similar if I ordered a case, I think.

50 Kroner, not Euros. 50 kroner = 5 Euros roughly.

That’s significantly less bad, but still not great. How’s that stack up to other beers around there?

Most strong beers (>4.7%) are that pricy, unless it is a generic Norwegian kind like Ringnes. The Paulaner and Schneiderweisse was about 50 kroner for 0.5l.

How much was the 1litre can of Faxe? It’s roughly $1.50 (in euromonies) over here.

It’s 89.70 Norwegian kroner, which is about $11. Think I’ll rather buy it in Denmark.

Well it is cheaper to send cans from Germany to Norway via DHL...if you cram as much cans as possible rather efficiently padded into a 20 kilogramme packet, it pans out at less than 6 dollars per can.

Hahaha want me to send you some Brazilian beer? Its terrible compared to European beer haha (talking about the ‘big companies’, not the homemades)

Not sure how happy the Norwegian customs would be about that.. Sice we’re not part of the EU, our import regulations are quite strict.

Sure would be fun to have a taste, but again I’m not sure how the Norwegian customs look upon ordering/recieving beer in a package from abroad..
